Many parents do not understand that they have the right to disagree with what the school is offering for distance learning or what their child is entitled to. When we attend meetings with our clients, we successfully obtain far more supports and better implementation of the IEP than what was previously offered. If you are feeling exhausted and stressed by distance learning, consider the help of an advocate or an attorney, and use these basic principles.
